I’ve always been an activist and an advocate for animals, since I was in elementary school. I never could figure out what it was I wanted to do with my life; nothing fit, and nothing inspired me as much as running an animal rights group or coordinating campaigns. And then one day it hit me: Having my own business would provide an opportunity to incorporate activism into every facet of the process. I knew I had to find a challenge that would speak up for animals in an industry where they needed a voice. I wanted to introduce innovations in fabrics that would advance cruelty-free options, showing that they are even better than conventional fabrics from animals. Animals are my drive, and fashion is my vehicle.
